The Cheltenham Plant becomes Mosaic Church

Change can be exciting, and sometimes a little nerve-wracking—but when God leads it, it’s always good and full of hope. Our church plant in Cheltenham is adopting a new name and becoming Mosaic Church Cheltenham, a vibrant family and community church in Cheltenham.

This change is more than a new logo or branding—it reflects a fresh season and the next step into the future that God has for them.

A Journey of Faith in Cheltenham

Over the last four years, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness and goodness time and time again. From the church starting beginnings, meeting in a garden during the COVID-19 pandemic, to the growth of the congregation, every step has been shaped by prayer and a team working together to see a church established in Cheltenham.

The church has grown in strength and number, in the last 12 months in particular, and adopting a new name marks the start of a new season for the church.

Why Mosaic Church Cheltenham?

The name Mosaic Church Cheltenham reflects the church’s call to be a multi-cultural church. It also reflects what God wants for his church: diversity and unity - many people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, all united and working together for common purpose. Of course, a mosaic reflects all of this! Mosaic’s have many unique pieces that together form something beautiful. Mosaic seeks to be a community where people from all backgrounds can belong, grow, and flourish together in Christ.

The new name also reflect who the church is, it is already diverse and increasingly multi-cultural. The church has people from at least ten nations already and more are being added in.

Looking Ahead: Launch Sunday in Cheltenham

Mosaic Church Cheltenham will officially launch on 7th September 2025, 10:30am at Bettridge School, Warden Road, Cheltenham, and the church warmly invites everyone to join them.

This event marks more than a launch; it is an invitation to be part of a church that seeks to impact Cheltenham and beyond, grow together in faith, and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds. Learn more about the church and upcoming events on the official Mosaic Church Cheltenham website.
