A group of churches and charities

Salt & Light Advance is a network of autonomous churches and groups of churches, each under the governance of separate charities. Together, we take seriously all matters of safeguarding, safety and compliance with other requirements for UK charities.

As a network we require churches and charities that are part of our network to comply with certain standards to maintain their partnership with us.

Our collective activity

Advance events are organised through one of the member churches, who take responsibility for that event’s finance, risk and governance.

Currently, all of our events are currently organised and governed through Oxfordshire Community Churches, the parent charity for ten of our churches.
